Most people are aware of the importance of having the right domain name and that it can help your overall ranking in the search engines. It is almost impossible to find the ideal .com domain name as it will already have been taken if there is any perceived value in that name.

My advice for people, who may feel their new website should be ranking highly but doesn't appear in Google, is simply to have patience. The best thing you can do is actively promote your website, continue development and in time Google will catch up.
Planning for new websites will also be essential. The technology available enables people to pre-launch their site to overcome the aging process. Simply making a Blog available on the domain and updating people on the developments may be enough to offset any aging delays. In addition, domain parking and domain incubationservices are available that can lead to the domain overcoming any age delay problems.
Overall, if webmasters remain calm, continue building their site normally and plan to account for the domain aging process, then they can quickly start receiving targeted traffic from search engines when their full site launches live.
It must be noted that domain aging does not appear to be in affect on the other two major search engines, Yahoo or MSN. Google may have put this in place to help prevent spam campaigns from artificially affecting search results and enabling their technology to detect and penalize the spam. Needless to say, whatever the reason, it still causes many webmasters a lot of headaches and frustration.About Author
