What is Facebook? Facebook is website a social networking website just like Orkut, LinkedIn etc. The Facebook website is privately owned and developed by Facebook Inc. This website has had a humble start. Facebook was an idea that grew from a small seed to a big tree. Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and few of the fellow computer science students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes developed this website when they were still studying at Harvard University. The membership was limited to Harvard students and later expanded to other colleges. It further expanded to more and more colleges and finally it allowed membership to anyone above the age of 13 years and over.

Finally some sane Teenagers came up with an idea to make a pact to log into Facebook only once a week as their studies were getting affected. They were using the time they could study and score well by logging on to Facebook every day.
Well we think Teenagers are irresponsible people but no they aren't. The teenagers have finally more and more teenagers following the same pact so their studies are not affected. But they are not ready to give up Facebook completely as it keeps them connected to their friends.
