A lot of webmasters began to find out how much search engines can help them, when they want an increasing traffic on their site.
SEO is a trick through which you learn to reach your aim rapidly. Search engines optimization became a top business industry.
But I sometimes think that SEO treats an effect, not the real cause which determines this effect.
The sites are a result, which is determined by the artistic and technical capacity of the creators. The respect of the technic standards and the natural dynamics of a site determine its indexation level. There are rules which must be respected and which are public, which are not tricks known by expensive scientists of a false science.
Respecting web standards, you may always have very good results, very well indexed pages, a lot of visitors on the search engines. In addition, I can say that the sites which are correctly created and maintained have PR 5-6, without link building campaigns and without spending money on doubtful promotion techniques.
The strategy of creating a nice site, but poor from the technical point of view, and of changing it into a good site, by SEO is expensive. If a customer deals with a SEO company, which sends only fanciful techniques, you will reach the situation in which the pieces of the surface are put together. This situation can be compared to a dirty room which was desodorized, without being cleaned. And it sometimes leads to a good indexation in the search engines. The fundamental problem is not solved. When visitors from the search engines come, they will discover a poor site. Then, why not making a standard site from the beginning? It will cost you to create a poor site, to optimize it, but finally it will be also poor.
I dont believe in SEO tricks, in steroids for the sites, because I have enough knowledge in the technical and the marketing domains, in order to know how the online environment works, what can be done and what is only a fairy tale meant to ask money from inocent people. But unfortunately not everybody thinks the way I think.
What do I mean by this? That SEO doesnt help sites to get a good position in search engines? No way! SEO does help the sites maybe more than steroids help athletes, but it doesnt treat the source of the problem, it cant be the answer to the necessity to produce a successful site, which should be indexed, which should have visitors and which should sell products or services.
The solution? To produce quality sites, which respect technical standards, so that they can be used by human or artificial visitors.
